Becoming my best friend through self-empathy

Becoming my best friend through self-empathy

There’s sadness in me when I remember that it took me almost fifty years to realize that I am the one causing my own suffering.
That although I can not “control” the outside world, I can choose how the words, events, gestures… are affecting me in the long term.
That by accepting my re-actions, accepting my feelings, by forgiving myself first, the transformation can occur.
If you’re interested in knowing more about this journey and you’d like to try this strategy, join me in this session.

About the trainer:
Ingrid GabrščekIngrid Gabršček
My name is Ingrid. I live in Slovenia. Nonviolent Communication “came” into my life in 2011 while I was attending a programme for therapists (transpersonal cognitive therapy). What started as an interesting method to communicate at first, became a path of Self-discovery through years. The mindset shift from Life happening to me to Life expressing through me, brought wonder and magic back into my life.
Spreading it across the world, became my dream, so I started the journey to become a certified trainer. During my certification journey my first focus is conflict resolution and mediation (I am a mediator). My second focus is the discovery of our inner world with empathy and tenderness.
For the last ten years, after leaving the “managing and leading” corporate world, I am passionately supporting groups that are interested in enhancing collaboration and releasing their creativity and individuals who are interested in transforming their limitations to “show up” fully in this world.
