Let’s talk about death and be more alive! The NVC practice of mourning in a death phobic culture – Pierre Vigneron
The relationship to death and our finitude is a key point for the psychological development. Our own finitude which is intrinsically part of our human nature cannot be skipped and can give us a huge sense of purpose and orientation: every moment that is avalaible becomes a precious and unreplaceable one.
So you need to choose carefully were you put your focus and attention in life, cause it’ll be who you become, and you need to choose consciously with whom you spent your days, cause your presence is your most precious asset.
In this pespective, having rituals to digest ongoingly our daily existence, becomes a base and a foundation for inner growth to be able to take life fully in. The practice of mourning in the perspective of NVC becomes a magic tool to navigate our ongoing changing nature, and in the end to feel paradoxically much more alive.
Life and death are two faces of the same coin, one cannot go without the other. This is what we bath in, while journeying on this blue planet.
Expect some insight and exchange around this topic and some practical exercises as well. After the session for people interested to dive deeper on how to embody the mouring processus of NVC, I will propose five evening sessions in a group dynamic grow in this art of living.
