3 Rest Zoom Talk with Shona Cameron The Needs Year

Rest – Zoom Talk with Shona Cameron

Welcome to Week 3 of the Needs’ Year!
This week Joachim Berggren will have a conversation with Shona Cameron about the need of Rest.
Shona Cameron is an educational psychologist and has been a certified trainer in Nonviolent Communication (NVC) since 2006. Shona’s work in school’s, specialising in consultation with teachers, parents and young people, gave her immense satisfaction. This role enabled her to bring psychology into people’s lives in a way which was practical and supportive. She was the only person in the room who knew about NVC, proving that one conversation can shift a situation from conflict to connection. She cannot decide what to specialise in. Mainly to be found in the NVC learning community she founded: Words are Windows.
Shona says: “I’m choosing to talk about Rest as a need as it is the need where I first experienced the living energy that Robert Gonzales and Susan Skye talked about. We will do the same exercise I did with Susan, a meditation, which is a deep exploration of needs and the life energy within them.”
