- Are you preparing yourself to give feedback to someone from your office and would like to receive some support?
- Do you struggle with being honest with others and withdraw from expressing yourself?
- Do you believe that feedback is essential in learning culture and want to master it so it becomes a nurturing part of your team or organization?
Our experiences of giving and receiving feedback during our school and professional lives have an important impact on the way we approach it right now. Some of us learnt that it is risky to be honest and in order to belong or feel safe it is better not to speak up. As giving and receiving feedback makes us feel vulnerable, cynicism may be another strategy that some of us use to protect ourselves.
At the same time, without feedback it is difficult to learn and to grow. Peter Senge, the author of the “Fifth Discipline. The Art & Practice of the Learning Organization” said:
“Personal mastery is the discipline of continually clarifying and deepening our personal vision, of focusing our energies, of developing patience, and of seeing reality objectively. As such, it is an essential cornerstone of the learning organization—the learning organization’s spiritual foundation.”
For some of us, his words may sound a bit strict, and still, the culture of feedback is the base for learning organizations that consist of people who cultivate respect, curiosity and openness in their professional relationships.
During this session, you will have an opportunity to:
- practice in a safe environment giving feedback based on 4 basic Nonviolent Communication differentiations,
- understand better WHY you want to give feedback and if the way you want to do it is supporting your intention and connection with another person,
- spot the costs you and the people you work with pay for not giving feedback.

To participate, you need a stable internet connection, your preferred device with a microphone and camera, and a pen and notebook, if you like taking notes. You also need to be able to communicate in English.
No recording: This session will not be recorded. The only way to take part in it is to join it live.

I fulfil this dream by working as a Certified Trainer of Nonviolent Communication and eduScrum, coach, mediator, Resonant Language Practitioner and MindSonar Analyst still in training.
I support leaders, teachers, physicians, teams, organizations and individual clients in building professional and personal relationships based on empathy, trust, dialogue and efficacy.
My scopes of work mainly are: empathic communication and conflict navigation, diversity and inclusion, intercultural communication, interpersonal neurobiology, agility in education, psychological safety and resilience. I co-create Empathic Way Europe team and non-profit campaigns # WidzęCzłowieka and Marathon of Empathy.
I work in Polish, English and Spanish.
You will see sparks in my eyes whenever I read Latin American literature, listen to world music, and am in connection with Nature, especially while walking in the mountains.
